I never got this combination of 3D and 2D animation past the tech demo/pilot stage, but the journey taught me quite a bit. It even has a theme song that I may never live down! The duckbuckbear is too good a character to leave on the back burner forever, so I'm sure he will return in the future!

I had the distinct pleasure of creating the title and exploding whale sequences in this collaboration with MassArt's Ben Chou and Brian G. (based on a true story).

This animation was shot from a tall stack of 4x6 grayscale marker illustrations and cut to the music ("Ethereal") of MassArt's Michael El. It is my most abstract piece, relying solely on mood.
